We have a hammock in our room!!!

This is our core flag!

It hangs in the hallway between the two rooms that make up my core!

This is how much room I have for all of my stuff.  Everything I have is in that small 6' by 2' cubby!

Hello Everyone!

Life here in Texas has been great!  I have been learning so much!  Over the last two weeks, I learned a lot about God's vision for my life!  It has also been a very difficult last few weeks, because with this learning, I also found many of the areas that I need to grow in (AKA character flaws).  It has been very difficult for me to keep persevering, but my accountability partners and family core have been very helpful to me.  Also, in the last month, my Core Advisor told us our core name! We are deeper!  This is our identity for the next year, and it is what we are pursuing as a core.  The name is actually taken from Ezekiel 47:1-12, so feel free to look it up!  Our core vision is, "To cultivate a deeper relationship with Jesus through intimacy, worship, and righteousness."  Our core values are:
Intimacy - "What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ." - Philippians 3:8

Worship - "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship." - Romans 12:1

Righteousness - "Now may the God of peace Himself Sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Thessalonians 5:23

This is everything that I will be pursuing in the next year (plus some other stuff).  Feel free to hold me accountable to these values, and the pillars of the Honor Academy (discipline, leadership, wisdom, and vision).

Also, please contact me! I would love to talk to you!  I'm in a bubble here at the Honor Academy, so feel free to share with me what's going on!
